From Malta & Gozo Islands (IOTA EU-023) between January 24th to February 2nd 2005

I would like to thank all the stations that talked to me over the 10 days, especially for the 3 days I was operating from Gozo Island, I had over 330 contacts from Gozo & 110 from Malta,

Sorry that I had to go QRT early but I was worried that the antenna would fall down due to high winds. I will try & QSL ASAP

I would especially like to thank Joe 9H5JO who provided the superb 3 bedroom apartment with 20 metre ground plain antenna for us at Marsalforn.

It was only 100ft from the sea & had 180 degs. unobscured views. This was a fantastic location to operate radio from.
